I love the way the colour changes this time of year.. I love walking through the house and seeing the glow of the yellow leaves through the window... the way the sun lights everything up and the leaves radiate a wonderful warmth. I wish this lasted longer.. soon enough, a big wind will come through and the leaves will all be blown to the ground. For now.. loving loving loving the glow!

To me, fall means all things warm and cozy. Cozy sweaters, boots, scarves and leg warmers come to mind.. oh, can't forget the best part (!!) ..curling up under a soft blankie with a good book! Yes, I love fall.. definitely my favourite time of year. I am thinking I am going to have to set aside some time to dig into my stash of yarn and make something.. something soft and cozy! The timing couldn't be more perfect!

So so so very true. There really is nothing about fall that I don't love.. well, except that it isn't long enough! I would be a happy girl if we lived in a place that was autumn all year long ..yep, I am smitten!

Autumn is.. books that fill me with warmth, a good cup of coffee... cozy blankets on the couch, getting used to dark mornings.. and lamps that stay on a little longer. Autumn is the kind of cozy that I love!
Hello all!
As I started to think about how I was going to pull our guest room together.. I kept coming back to the idea of adding an inspiration wire.. less for inspiration purposes... more just for decorative fun! Something that I can easily add to as time goes on.. switch up with the seasons, or even add personal touches for the guests that might be spending time at our house!
I gathered all of the items on the wire from around the house! I spent no extra money on this project.. which is always a bonus! I used some scrapbooking supplies including butterflies punched from this yummy SEI patterned paper! Some fabric, black and white photos of my kids and a tree printed from this digital kit! Such a great feeling using items from around the house! ..I may or may not have raided the bulletin board in my crafting space! heee! ;)
Yay for fun inexpensive ways to add yummy texture to any space! When I say any space.. I really mean it! You could work one of these fun inspiration wires into any room of your home!
Check out this one created by Veronica Jennings which was showcased in this article all about her wonderful creative space! LOV-ING the cardboard deer head!!! I love how she grouped it with other objects!
Or this super fun colourful photo wire that hangs above Miss Cheryl's bed!! YUM!! This is seriously cute! So inspiring!
OK.. who else is feeling the urge to go make inspiration wires? lol After seeing Veronica's and Cheryl's again.. I know I want to go add one to every room... not just the spare/guest room!! Happy creating everyone!! Yay for handmade decor! :)

The most gorgeous old gate.. and it is perfectly at home it it's garden... which is why I think my mom would have noticed immediately if I would have tried to sneak it home with me. They just don't make them with this charm anymore!
