Congratulations Maggie! Your fun fact made me smile because I wore out my heated seat on the driver's side of my Rendezvous by using it every single day of the year, summer included.

As for the rest of you...so so fun to hear your little quirks! We are going to be sharing many many more fun facts in the future...(in fact very soon I'll be sharing how it will become a huge part of the site!) so I hope to get to know all of you a little better through them!

Who Wants A Little Cartwheel's Love In Their Mailbox? :: Fresh Start Give-away Numero Uno.

Happy Tuesday, my friends! Are you loving the posts we've had from the lovely and widely creative mind of Elizabeth Mudge the past two days? Because I have. So much...it's so fun for me to see her fresh take on the world. And what better time to celebrate that fresh take than the beginning of her new partnership with me as co-owner of Cartwheels In My Mind? 

Speaking of fresh takes...one of my favorite things in the entire world is to sit in the evenings after the kids are sleeping and watch gritty documentaries while making tons of fun jewelry. And just recently I made a small batch of these lovely purple rings...and upon wearing them to run errands out and about this week I've gotten alot of compliments on them...so I thought it would be fun to do a giveaway where you can win a chance to receive one of your own.

25 Days Of Christmas...A Cindy Ruigrok Mini :: Harry Potter Edition.

I'll admit it that this mini book sat on my table for a while.  I don't often use a black and white color scheme so I wanted to make sure that I thought it out and did the mini book from Cindy Ruijgrok justice.  Add to it that I don't do mini books that often and you can see why I wanted to sit on it a while (so to speak).  And then a couple of days later it dawned on me!  The red, black and white color scheme would be perfect for documenting my daughter's Harry Potter obsession...and just in time for Christmas!

Once the topic was decided the rest of the album came together marvelously!

I love that all the mixed sizes of pages let all kinds of upcoming goodies peek through.

The envelope is perfect for keeping movie tickets and other memorabilia in.

The great thing is that there's still a lot of extra pages that I haven't even used yet.  I'm anticipating some Harry Potter stuff coming her way for Christmas and a trip to Universal to see "Harry Potter World" in Spring... so I'm going to need the extras!

The changes are wonderful. I most love the part about DIY tutorials! I love when artists show you how they got to the final piece! Also love the idea of only one photo a day. Although I love the photos, I agree that they will be more special if only one is up a day! Change is always a great thing!

And I also just wanted to say thanks so much for all the feedback from everyone...I'm so happy to hear that you continue to be inspired by Cartwheels and I hope that you will like the new changes that are coming to us. (Just think double the inspiration and triple the DIY tutorials from guest artists with a new shop and some handmade embellies thrown in for good measure.)
