Hello there Cartwheels readers! I am super excited to be here today sharing a very fun and colorful project that I recently made. Like all my other fellow artists, I find inspiration everywhere! Magazines, scrapbooking products, photographs, nature.....it's everywhere! 

For a long time I have wanted to make a "Happy Book". A little book where I can put photos, song lyrics, quotes, anything that makes me happy and makes me smile! I wanted to challenge myself to use color. Lots of it! I tend to steer towards neutrals and basic patterns in my scrapbooking work. This time I wanted the colors I used to emote feelings of joy and happiness. And what better way to do that than with bright bold colors, glitter and anything that shines and shimmers!

I raided my stash and pulled together anything that fit the above description, printed out a ton of photos that brought back good memories and got to work. I used a 7Gypsies ATC spinner for this project. The little carousel is so cute and I love the way you can just spin it around and look at all the little pages inside. The small size of the pages also made it easy to quickly put them together. I didn't focus on journaling with this project. I did include a few song lyrics and quotes that I love. But the spinner mostly contains photos of my family.

I am very pleased with the finished product and I accomplished exactly what I wanted! I have a little place filled with happy things and the colors bring it all together! I can add to it as time goes on if I want. I had so much fun with this project and am in love with the way the spinner looks all filled and am thinking of making another one!
