This week's project to get your creative juices flowing is inspired by the font that I shared this week. Remember how I mentioned that it's perfect for graphic art pieces around the house? Well I decided to try it out..and here's what I ended up with:
We have a little space in between our dining/sunroom and living area that has been empty up till this point, so I decided to frame this little EAT YOUR CAKE graphic for that space...I felt like it added color but wasn't so much that it took away from either room.
I actually debated with whether or not to add a little cupcake graphic,
but couldn't find one that I loved, so I decided that the words by
themselves were enough.
Now that I created my first one, I'm thinking I need to make a bunch more and possibly print them on canvas instead of photo paper the next time. There are endless possibilities as to what you could create with this...
SUPPLIES:
FONT: fabianestem by Esteban Muñoz Grunge Brush: MaryAnn Wise for 2peas; Frame: Target.
What are YOU working on this week? Aside from this project, I'm working on some graphic changes for the site and adding new photo albums (which means new girls!) as well as contacting new artists to share with you. I'm so excited with all the stuff we'll be sharing over the next few months!
It looks awesome, Cheryl! What a great font, thanks for sharing it. :)

Totally loving it! I love simple reminders in such cool typography. I think I need to make me a few similar signs for around the house.
Can't wait to see changes to the site and addition to the talent already here. :)
