Hanging pretty little art pieces makes my home feel more like a "home", especially when you mix in handmade art. I love trying something new even if it's super easy or super complicated to add some flair to my home decor. Even though I have an growing collection of frames that rarely get used, I try to find other ways to frame some of my favorite photos.
So, I decided to dress up one of the foyer walls with two 6x6 painted canvas's to showcase my favorite photos. I used a die-cut machine to cut out the postage design and backed them with photos. Pop dotted them onto cardstock and adhered to the painted canvas's for a 3D affect. Super simple! I love the look of them and how nicely they pretty up my foyer wall. I get to look at them each and everyday when I walk down the stairs and that puts a smile on my face every time.

I've just popped over from Freckled Nest. I love how this blog is a compilation of interesting articles by a bunch of creative ladies. Fun idea!
The frames look great! The homemade touch makes them stand out even more!
