Rings From A Reader.

I was so excited late late last night when during the course of my art session I noticed that I had received an e-mail from an old friend. And I was even more excited when I opened it up and saw these words: I spent some time on your new site and then left immediately to Michaels where I bought up supplies and ended up making 15 new funky rings!!!!  I LOVE them and I LOVE your website and I LOVE that I finally did something crafty - it's been WAY too long.

Love LOVE her take on the project...I'm especially drawn to the right hand row. It's so fun to see how other people interpret art and make them their own. Thanks Maryann, you totally made my day!

Speaking of readers sharing art, I also wanted to share this fabulous layout by Tricia Wilson that was posted in our reader flickr gallery. It kind of inspires me to both want to start a garden and to use leaves on a layout, although knowing myself, I'd have to say that the latter is much more likely.

And one more share from the gallery: this FABULOUS pinwheel headband by Jan Tatomir. I have been wanting to alter some headbands for awhile, and this completely pushed me over the edge from wanting to NEEDING so I think this weekend there will be some hair embellishment art being created! :)
