Who says that wreaths have to be saved for the fall and winter holidays!? I know summer wreaths aren't a new thing.. but it is a first for me! So amazing how a simple wreath can make such a difference!
I used an 8 inch straw wreath that I purchased from Michael's.. and have had it sitting here forever! lol The grey fabric is from Ikea.. super cheap and nice and heavy! Other random supplies I also had on hand.. so this came together very easily.. and quickly!
I just ripped the grey fabric.. I loooove the raw edge, and it was like 100 x faster than cutting it! hee! The light aqua that I used to hang it is from my scrappy ribbon stash..
The fabric flowers I already had made.. and were sitting here waiting to be used on some sort of project! lol If you google 'fabric flowers' ..you will come up with soooooo many varieties that are super fun and easy to make! Then, I just simply used hot glue to attach them, along with the pretty feathers!
Viola.. instant summer fun, hanging from the front door!!! Hope this inspires you to dig through your supplies.. or maybe make a trip to the craft store! ..there is something so gratifying about adding a little bit of personalized pretty to your front door! Please, feel free to link back in the comments if you make a wreath.. or even better, add it to the Cartwheels flickr group! Happy summer crafting everyone!

love love love!!! so very cool!

I hope this allowed, I have never used this website before so I wasn't really sure what this was going to do. So this is just a test post. I really like this forum, it has some excellent discussions that take place.
